Romte en Stream fan Peter Sijbenga

The second release on Roses And Records: a full-length double CD! It contains electronic-based compositions on commission by Peter Sijbenga, who has been around in adventurous music since the 1980s.

The song-cycle Romte consists of twelve "short stories" on human isolation; musically it is based on sequenced ARP synthesizer sound patterns. Stream, a fifteen-piece history on Frisian water management, is a more loosely composed and/or improvised work of sound. It even reminds of Peter's work with It Dockumer Lokaeltsje, undisputedly the best band ever to emerge from Fryslan.

The other four compositions, Skep Foor Skep, Wadd'nnacht, Wetterwille and Building on Ice complete this retrospective on Sijbenga's electronic works of last century,
